The Oregonian published a story involving a judge’s decision that federal officials had not properly assessed the environmental impacts of approving a genetically modified alfalfa seed for planting this year. The claims are that the plants will pollinate conventional varieties of alfalfa.

And think of all those Wyoming feedlot elk, potentially destined to dine on GMO alfalfa —-
Maybe it will make their antlers stunted. That would very likely quickly cull some of the Elkhunters from the Tag Herd …
Usually its water that stunts growth.. So you would probably want to wish for a drought through the summer, that would do it better than the alfalfa. Especially if you could limit the drought to units 58 and 61. Those are the top elk units in WY. That would cull some hunters for sure!

If Monsanto owns the patent…then do they also own the elk who eat the alfalfa? Think they will file a law suit on the RMEF???? Could we be onto something here…
