   Wow, it’s truly amazing how “redneckish” some folks are…read the comments at the bottom of the story for a good example. In a nutshell, if it aint a deer or elk, we wanna go hunt it, kill it, send it back to Canada, etc., etc. Frankly, I’m amazed some of these buffoons can operate a computer to type in their responses.

   I suspect that most of them (rednecks) are of the Canadian variety, much bigger and more aggressive (when it comes to beer and bacon consumption, that is) than their American counterparts that they’re driving into extiction. We clearly need to rid our country of these overly agressive interlopers if we are to save our populations of benign, non-confrontational American rednecks. I think you’re on to something Dave.

   I checked out the comments, and it looks like they were disabled.

   Could mean the negative comments got so out of hand the paper deactivated them.

   I watch these comments, and they can get depressing.

   But, on closer review, it is usually the same commenters over and over again on stories like this.

   I have a co-worker who says these types of people need a healthier hobby.

   Many newspapers disable comments when they are rated as very unpopular.

   I’ve noticed the Billings Gazette idiots’ comments are now being challenged, and increasingly they end up in the unpopular to blanked out category like they have on this article.

   I had no problem with seeing the comments, even the ones that are rated poor, you just have to click on the link next to the comment that says, display this comment..

   I’ve heard through a fried a few of the released Colorado lynx are in the GYE.
