Have there been studies on mountain goats’ impacts in their transplanted ranges? I have no problem with them, but I know how they are invasive on the Olympic Peninsula but didn’t know if they were elsewhere.

Yes there is competition between the two animals. It isn’t total, but can be significant.
I am wanting to do a story on the mountain goat that was found by hikers hung by the horns on a wind turbine cable. The report was given on CNN headlines around July or August. I have been unable to find the story itself or any follow up to the event. Do you have any information that might help me in my search? Thank you. Mary Jo
