I train drivers for one of the (inter)national package carriers. Although the driver may not have done anything illegal or “wrong”, it appears to be something that could have been avoided.

  2. Bruce Boxall says:

I smell a rat–no way can you kill that many

  3. mikarooni says:

Of course you can kill that many, especially if you’re a bitter white trash trailerbilly oil field worker with a deep resentment of anything smacking of wildness, environmentalism, or civil rights. In that case, you just swig the last of your beer to take the edge off the meth, take one last big puff on your cigarette, and gun the truck at just the right moment.

Wow, this is one of the most ignorant statements I’ve read on this site! Did you even read the article? Get a grip!

Quote

‎"At some point we must draw a line across the ground of our home and our being, drive a spear into the land and say to the bulldozers, earthmovers, government and corporations, “thus far and no further.” If we do not, we shall later feel, instead of pride, the regret of Thoreau, that good but overly-bookish man, who wrote, near the end of his life, “If I repent of anything it is likely to be my good behaviour."

~ Edward Abbey
