  1. Transporting whatever “Energy” comes from Alberta oil/tar sands is what some of the huge Utility Corridors are be tailored to do. What a stupid idea! There was one proposed called “Northern Lights” that seems to have morphed into other segments.

  2. Jim T: Yet another reason the Democrats need to send Harry Reid to the back-bench. Do it sooner, rather than later. I think Harry has lots of friends he needs to retire and spend more time with – and not run in 2010. After all, he has done “public lands” favors for some of them, his sons are attorneys and/or lobbyists for others of them.

The last article talks about a recent water export scheme – with a Reid son as the attorney for Whittemore. Mr. Whittemore now controls the base property for the huge Geyser Ranch BLM allotment. The base property for Geyser Ranch was acquired for aquifer mining for Coyote Springs to the south Harry Reid’s Wilderness bills moved powerlines and did all kinds of things to smooth the way for housing development for Whittemore at Coyote Springs.

Harry Reid’s mining gold buddies have ripped apart much of north-central Nevada – and through mine aquifer drawdown – laid long-term waste to aquifers.

To the south – in Lincoln and White Pine Counties- Harry Reid’s Wilderness Bills have smoothed the way for both Las Vegas aquifer mining, and Whittemore’s Coyote Springs development that requires water export for development.

Russ Feingold is my choice to replace him. Someone who is not a spineless apologist carting all the baggage of backing down time after time throughout the latter 4 Bush years.

Salle: Gee! Maybe someone has been reading the overwhelming negative on-line reviews of The Salazar Big Hat, how women in particular are revolted by that look, the environmental destruction it symbolizes.
