Disabled. YOU CAN NOW MAKE THREADS ON COMMENTS

Based on your comments, I just disabled this “feature.”  I kind of liked it, but WordPress needs to do a lot of work on it before I will try it again.

Please please keep this reversion in your mind because you might want to make it more evident in your comments exactly who you are responding to.

I don’t know Ralph, I find this new format difficult to keep track on the threads I have been watching, you click on the link to see who has made the latest comment and it takes you to the middle of comments that were made days ago, very difficult to follow the flow of things now..

I tend to agree with Save bears. I found it much easier to keep up with the line of discussion using the old, simpler format–but maybe we’ll get used to this new version.

Now, for example, the delisting thread has gone into another page, and it listed Ryan as making the last comment, but when you click to read that comment, it just takes you to the last page of the thread and you can’t even find Ryan’s comment, this new format is really a pain..I would really like to see it go back the way it was…

+1 on Save bears comment or to a forums style threaded format.

I’m losing track of what is going on in the threads. I kind of liked the old way better. It would be okay if there weren’t so many comments and I had more time to read them but I’m lost now.

This format makes it a lot more click intensive to find the flow of the thread…

Well, no one has spoken in favor of it, so I will change it back unless someone speaks up in favor pretty soon.

I do know that those who are satisfied with something sometimes don’t say anything.

If you like the new method of threaded comments, please let us know, ASAP.

I recommend elevating this thread to Hall of Fame status.

I believe that it is the first thread in the history of this site that reached a consensus. Bravo ‘ol chaps, bravo.

Agree that the new format sucked.
