One Response to Yellowstone Park visits high in August

  1. Bill Salmansohn says:

    Dear Ralph
I grew up in Ny and wen to Denver U in 1968 and thought I had died and truly went to heaven. Never had I seen a skyline made of mountains before. I was part of the Denver Free U “eco-socio” experiment called Earthgames where we built domes and moved up to 9000′ near Pocha Springs, Colorado and life was never the same!!!! Thanks for being out there and protecting our little planet from those that would disturb her and all of her inhabitants!!!!

Quote

‎"At some point we must draw a line across the ground of our home and our being, drive a spear into the land and say to the bulldozers, earthmovers, government and corporations, “thus far and no further.” If we do not, we shall later feel, instead of pride, the regret of Thoreau, that good but overly-bookish man, who wrote, near the end of his life, “If I repent of anything it is likely to be my good behaviour."

~ Edward Abbey
