WWP and BFC file to intervene in bison lawsuit

This week Western Watersheds Project and Buffalo Field Campaign filed to intervene in the lawsuit brought by Park County and the Park County Stockgrowers Association which oppose the state plan which would allow bison to use the Gardiner Basin south of Yankee Jim Canyon for part of the winter without being constantly hazed, captured, and slaughtered. While the plan wouldn’t let bison use the area year-round, it would let them use the area during the harshest part of the winter which is a step in the right direction.

I wrote an affidavit in support of the intervenors.

Money is tight these days for most folks including me, but I have no problem donating to BFC 1-2 times a year for causes such as this…
