    This one as well..http://www.examiner.com/a-1810068~EPA_board_to_review_Navajo_coal_plant_air_permit.html?cid=rss-Arizona_Headlines

I am all for these reviews and slow downs/stops of plants, but this administration better have some backup plans in place that can squeeze some juice. The best way for him not to get reelected would be to propagate a bunch of brown/blackouts across the country.

  2. jdubya,

Yes that would hurt him, but does anyone know if this is likely (blackouts) given the weak economic demand?

Quote

‎"At some point we must draw a line across the ground of our home and our being, drive a spear into the land and say to the bulldozers, earthmovers, government and corporations, “thus far and no further.” If we do not, we shall later feel, instead of pride, the regret of Thoreau, that good but overly-bookish man, who wrote, near the end of his life, “If I repent of anything it is likely to be my good behaviour."

~ Edward Abbey
